1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files a website places on your device. Similar techniques (local storage, pixels, scripts) often fall under the same Belgian rules. Non-essential cookies are only set after your consent.

2. Who sets cookies?

• PumpPrice - theme and fuel preference in localStorage, plus a first-party cookie for your cookie choice.
• Google AdSense - ads (only after consent, advertising category).
• YouReal Analytics (www-s.youreal.it) - visit stats without tracking cookies (no cookie consent required).

3. Categories

Strictly necessary

Needed for the site to work and to remember your cookie choice. You cannot refuse these if you use the site.

• First-party consent cookie from the banner (typically cc_cookie)

Functionality

Remember preferences that make the site usable. On PumpPrice we store these in localStorage, not as HTTP cookies:

• light/dark theme (pommprijs-theme)
• selected fuel for the 7-day forecast and history chart (pommprijs-product)

Analytics (no tracking cookies)

YouReal Analytics (fetch.js) helps understand how the site is used. The script loads without cookie consent because it does not set tracking cookies.

Advertising

Used for ads via Google AdSense. The AdSense script loads only after consent for this category.

4. Managing consent

You can:

• use the banner on first visit;
• reopen later via cookie settings;
• clear cookies in your browser (we will ask again).

Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
